My first Advanced Drawing piece called, TICK TOCK. It was based off a prompt called Terra Forma where the prompt was assigned after choosing a series of picture cards. My prompt from Terra Forma was, "How can I show the juxtaposition of gears and pulleys in my piece?" I was pretty proud of the way I drew machinery in this piece, as it was not something I did too often. But in the end I am quite proud of how it turned out and I am looking forward to doing more machinery in the near future.

The prompt for this project was "Kill the Pen" and "Nightmares". One of the biggest fears I have is facing my fears, so to express this, I wanted to express the power of fear and how it makes one react. Fear is strong, so those who wield it have to be strong as well, so I exaggerated their anatomy and proportions.

The theme of this piece was superheroes and villains, my specialty. The character I chose to use was a villain called Grin, a freak who's mouth is pulled all the way to the end of his face. I wanted this villain to be a sympathetic one, so I chose his first appearance on the cover to show hm being attacked by tomatoes, surrounded by a spot light with hard shadows and for his pose to be one of anguish showing the obvious pain he is in. Evil to me is created, not inherit. So an origin of anguish and torment is a sure formula for a villain to be born.
